November statistics

Duncan Epping · Dec 7, 2008 ·

I was just looking at my statistics because I had some requests for banners. And the first banner has just been added to the website: VM People.

There are just a few spots for banners, so if you are interested just let me know and we will work something out.

Here you go, the WordPress stats:

  • Average pageviews per day in November: 3111
  • Busiest day, Thursday 20 November: 4577
  • 1300+ RSS readers

The hosting stats:

  • Average hits per day in November: 27183
  • Monthly total visits: 84598
  • Monthly total hits: 815494

I think the most impressive number is the “visits”. Visits = number of unique visitors.

Looking at the “visits” number of the past 11 months:

January: 15000
February: 22000
March: 22000
April: 33000
May: 37000
June: 36000
July: 45000
August: 57000
September: 66000
October: 75000
November: 85000

Still growing strong almost every month except for June which is probably due to the holidays. It amazes me that July and August had such a huge increase, considering this is the traditional holiday period in the Netherlands.

I think there are many people visit this blog site periodically around the world besides Netherland. I am in Beijing, China. Thanks for your industrious effort, Duncan! This site is very helpful to me.

    Hi Duncan

I’m an avid fan of your site, keep up to date with it regularly and have to admit you were one of the reasons I got into blogging about virtualisation in the first place. I don’t know how you find the time to do it but please keep it up. As per Tom Howarth’s comment, I hope to emulate those kind of stats one day
