I just upgraded to WordPress 2.5. Very easy as expected and it the admin pages look amazing, still have to find my way through but I think it definitely is an improvement. Only thing that seems to be missing still is a decent “tag” option, would be easy if I could just pick the already used tags again…

I’m glad you took the plunge first! I’m currently evaluating an upgrade to WordPress 2.5 for my site, but there are some plug-ins that I haven’t verified are compatible, and I’m not looking forward to all the various theme tweaks that I’d need to do after switching plug-ins….so much trouble.
If you have any tips on the upgrade, I’d love to hear them.

I made a backup of my template, plugins and database and just went ahead. I did nothing special, and it actually quite surprised me that everything still works out of the box. So I can’t give you many tips unfortunately…
