Native VCF S3 Object Storage demo!

Duncan Epping · Jun 23, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Stop paying the public cloud tax: Native S3 Object Storage for VCF changes everything! As I mentioned this on a recent podcast I did with Rakesh, so I took sometime this week to narrate the demo and here it is. In this demo you will see the VCF Automation UI and how VCF S3 Object Storage is enabled and configured so that it can be consumed by whomever needs it. That could be for backup purposes for instance, it could be (sovereign) AI, but could also be a target location for an application to store it’s data. Basically anything that speaks S3 can take advantage!

#119 – All things (VCF 9.1) security with Bob Plankers!

Duncan Epping · May 25, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Recently I realized I hadn’t had Bob Plankers on the show yet, so it was time to get him to join the show and talk all things security.

Bob goes over all the various features we introduced related to security in VCF 9.1, and also gives a quick overview of what we’ve had available in VCF and vSphere for decades now. As always, the episode is available on all platforms, you can find it on Spotify, Apple, Youtube or simply use the embedded players below.
