Sharing my vSAN 7.0 U1 webinar, watch it now!

Duncan Epping · Dec 9, 2020 ·

I recorded a webinar a while back. It was streamed last week, and I figured that as I have the recording here, I may as well share it with you. In this webinar I discuss many of the new features which were introduced as part of vSAN 7.0 U1, features like HCI Mesh, IO Insight, enhanced File Service capabilities, and much more. The session is about 40 minutes long, but of course, the great thing about youtube is that you can play it at a different speed. Hope you will enjoy it! Click on the video below, or simply follow this link to youtube. Make sure to like the video, and subscribe to my channel as well!

    Hi Duncan,
Thank you very much for this article. Always very helpful.
I saw you presentation on the vSAN File Services way back in 2018 (I guess) on the Dutch VMUG
Very cool to see that is here.
I would like to deploy File Services on a NSX-T overlay network. The documentation says the following:
If NSX-based networks are being used, ensure that similar settings are configured for the provided network entity from the NSX admin console, and all the hosts and File Services nodes are connected to the desired NSX-T network.
Do you have any specific guidance on this ? MacLearning was easy. But the rest….
    Thanks
