VMware vSphere vMA patch 3

VMware has just released patch 3 for vMA and it contains severalĀ  security fixes so make sure to update your Management Appliance! Here’s how to do it:
# sudo vima-update scan
# sudo vima-update update

vMA Patch 2

vMA 4.0 Patch 2 has just officially been released. This release contains multiple bugfixes and security patches. Make sure to install the patch. KB article 1014689 describes how to do the upgrade from within the appliance.

VMware vSphere Management Assistant (vMA) Patch 01

For those running vMA (previously known as VIMA) patch 01 has just been released. You can find all the details in this KB article. Updating the appliance when the proxy has been set up can be done on the command line by typing the following command:
sudo vima-update update
