My efforts to ThinApp Inkscape weren’t immediately successful. I did a standard capture and ran the resulting binary successfully, but most of the icons were missing.

I had to slightly adjust the ThinApp package to get it to run properly. To ThinApp Inkscape:

1. Start Setup capture as normal
2. Do a normal installation of Inkscape (I chose not to install some of the languages)
3. Finish the capture process without building the package. Only one entry point, Inkscape.exe, is of use.
4. As normal, delete any *.MST, *.MSI and *.CAB from the capture folder
5. Open package.ini and find [Inkscape.exe]. In that section add/modify these values as necessary:

6. WorkingDirectory=%ProgramFilesDir%\Inkscape

7. FileTypes=.svg

8. Compile.

That should be enough to give you a working Inkscape.
