It seems that pretty much most 3rd-party tools are priced for the Fortune 500 that can afford thousands of dollars for this. SMBs using VMware also deserve quality monitoring tools that do not cost many thousands of dollars just to monitor 2-5 hosts, a totally easier situation than the Fortune 500 companies have.
